Once again, Chairman Kenny A. Johnson makes history as the first African-American securing $156K+ in a grant for Rockdale County children to become educated and enter into the industry of STEM, especially soil and water science conservation.

 

On September 24, 2020, Chairman Kenny A. Johnson wrote and successfully secured a $156K+ grant from USDA/NRCS for an ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE "STEM" PROGRAM earmarked for students at Rockdale County Public Schools.

 

Chairman Kenny A. Johnson is the official administrator of the grant, for which the program duration is for the next three (3) years.
